Introduction

This list is a Pololu mega shield, or a short ramp. It is designed to be a low cost small package of RepRap needed to accommodate the entire electronics. The slant interface is integrated with the powerful Arduino MEGA platform of the Arduino and has plenty of room for expansion. The control electronics on the stepper drive and an Arduino MEGA Shield extruder facilitate maintenance, replacement parts, upgrade capabilities and an expanded modular design including plug-ins. In addition, some Arduino expansion boards can be added to the system as long as the main ramp board is saved to the top of the stack.

The board is mainly based on Adrian's Pololu_Electronics and work Tonok. Copper etching anti-Vick recommended method. Also inspired by Vic's work EasyDrivers. The design of the circuit is based primarily on the initial pin definitions and many design improvements provided by Adrian's Pololu_Electronics Joaz RepRapSource.com. Too many inspirations, suggestions, and ideas from Prusajr, Kliment, Maxbots, Rick, and many other RepRap communities.

Characteristics

1. It has provisions for Cartesian robots and extruders.

2. Expand to control and other accessories.

3. Heater/fan output and MOSFET of 3 thermistor circuits.

4. Fusion 5A additional security and component protection

5. Heating bed controls additional 11A fuse

6. Suitable for 5 Pololu stepper drive board

7.Pololu board pin headers so they can be easily replaced or removed for future designs.

8. The I2C and SPI pins are left for future expansion.

9. All MOSFETs are hooked into PWM pins for versatility.

10. The servo connector is used to connect to the end stop, motor and LED. These connectors are gold plated and rated at 3A and are very compact.
