Buyer Feedback:
“Correct” power supply for 5v. 2a. A rare case when the circuitry of the finished device is practically not subjected to “optimization” by a greedy manufacturer. In the primary circuit, everything is fair – a varistor, a filtering inductor, a resettable fuse. The input capacitance is as much as 15mkf 400v (in similar blocks 6mkf is already considered good form, but here as much as 15) and to top it off, the transistor is honest 3a. Already for the primary, it’s worth buying, but there is also no choke in the output circuit and electrolytes (both !!!) at 1000 microfarads and with a triple voltage margin. Installation is also on the level – both sides are soldered quite accurately, no traces of indelible flux are visible, and all large-sized parts are additionally fixed with a rubber-like compound. As a result, a decently assembled device works well. The unit confidently holds the declared 2a. When the input voltage changed from 185 to 235, the output voltage was clearly kept at 5.07v. There is nothing to see ripples at high frequencies, but judging by the behavior of the screens of rechargeable devices (no phantom clicks or unauthorized cursor movements, etc. signs of power interference) there are not many of them. At the same time, even at maximum current, the PSU remained relatively cold for a long time. When trying to increase the load to 3a, the unit quickly heated up, and the voltage dropped to 4.2v. In general, the device is suitable, it gives its declared parameters even with a small margin. The elemental base is not redneck, decent performance. A rare case when there is nothing to scold (wink)
